NUG Society Meeting XXXV 2024
Get to know Hamburg
Hamburg is a diverse and inspiring city. Each visit offers you a number of possibilities to spend your stay: Musicals, city tours, events, day trips to the surrounding area and much more.
A trip to Hamburg also means sightseeing in Hamburg. Whether the Elbphilharmonie, Landungsbrücken or Hamburg City Hall – they and many other sights are simply part of a trip to Hamburg. The easiest way to explore Hamburg’s sights and historic quarters like the HafenCity and the UNESCO world heritage Speicherstadt district is on a sightseeing tour with the striking double-decker buses.
Restaurants & Cafés
From fresh fish in a harbour-side restaurant, typical Old Hamburg cuisine with labskaus and red fruit jelly to all sorts of exotic specialities: In terms of food, Hamburg is at the forefront of gourmet cuisine. Many of its restaurants have been bestowed with prizes. But sometimes more important than a Michelin star is the location and view from the window. Thus, a number of chic restaurants and bars have settled along the Alster and the Elbe that invite to stay and enjoy your meal!
Bars, pubs and clubs in Hamburg
Whether trendy bars, cult pubs, buzzing clubs or popular live music – dancing, laughing and unforgettable nights are the order of the day in Hamburg! Only sleep is perhaps a little too short… The St. Pauli district is of course an absolute must for all night owls. In addition to the hustle and bustle of the Reeperbahn, it is also worth exploring other districts such as the alternative Schanzenviertel, St. Georg, Eimsbüttel or Ottensen.
